To celebrate Pentecost - the birth of the Church - Junior Church members and the congregation were invited to bake a cake and send in a photo of their creation.  No birthday is complete without a cake and no St Mary's celebration is complete without cake.  As you will see from the gallery below, the response was overwhelming and a huge number of tasty looking treats - not all edible! - were baked or crafted in response to the challenge.  From empire biscuits to yoghurt loaves, these photos will certainly whet your appetite! So grab a cup of tea - and maybe a cake - and enjoy!
