At the 109th Battalion Annual Review on Friday 8th May it was announced that the company had won the competitions for Junior Football, Senior Football, Swimming, Physical Challenge and Athletics and been runners up in the First Aid competition and the Quiz. When the results from all competitions were combined the company were the highest scorers, seeing off a very strong challenge from the 2nd/4th Motherwell Company by one and a half points.

It is the first time the company has held the championship flag since 2008 and the 16th time that they have held the flag. This victory came 50 years after the Company's first championship win and represents the perfect start to their centenary year.
